Heritage Fellowship Church is located in Springfield, Ohio. While the church is over 25 years old, we have recently experienced tremendous growth. Our attendance has increased from only 50 in average attendance to now consistently averaging 800 in our Sunday Services. We have a strong and immersive contemporary worship ministry. We are looking for someone who will help our Worship Director maintain our current ministry but also being able to help lead our church by bringing fresh vision ideas and direction.

Job Description:

The role of Worship Tech Coordinator is primarily responsible for advancing the vision and mission of Heritage Fellowship Church by overseeing the worship AVL and other technical needs of HFC including but not limited to leadership of volunteer technical teams for all Sunday Morning Services and other events requesting/requiring technical support.

Duties:

  1. Oversee all technical aspects (lighting, sound, livestream, and video presentation) of Sunday morning services. Support of Sunday morning worship is the number one priority of this position.
  2. Train, lead, schedule, and manage tech volunteers.
  3. Serve as ‘house manager’ of the worship technology within our facility which includes, but not limited to developing processes, regular maintenance, setup/teardown, documentation and knowledge of systems.
  4. Provide Audio/Visual technology support for other programs and events throughout our campus. This support includes, but not limited to assisting with content creation as needed, and as time permits arranging volunteer assistance or training other ministry leaders.
  5. In cooperation with the Worship Director, work within and provide recommendations for the Worship Technology budget.
  6. Attend Heritage Fellowship Church staff and/or department meetings as deemed necessary.
  7. As time permits perform other duties as assigned by the Worship Director.

Qualifications:

  1. Effective communication skills (oral and written).
  2. Experience in ministry in a medium to large church setting.
  3. A self-motivated leader, capable of casting and imparting vision for ministry, possessing relational skills with staff, volunteers and congregation.
  4. Experience and proficiency with modern digital AVL components and systems (i.e. audio consoles, DAWs, video switching equipment, video cameras, etc) in a worship setting.
  5. Ability to troubleshoot systems, equipment, and processes and confidently make mid-course corrections as needed.
  6. Advanced proficiency with MacOs operating systems. 
  7. Proficiency with database software I.E. Planning Center, Youtube File management etc. (Heritage Fellowship Church to provide training).

Hours

This will be a paid 25 hour per-week position.

Accountability

The Technical Coordinator is ultimately responsible to the Lead pastor but will work under the direct supervision of the Worship Director.

Worship Ministry Intern

Worship Intern Job Description:

Our attendance has soared from 50 to now consistently hitting over 600 in our average Sunday attendance. We have a strong and immersive contemporary worship ministry. We are looking for someone who is up for the challenge of helping our Worship Director maintain our current ministry but also being able to help lead our music ministry by bringing fresh vision ideas and direction.

Purpose

The Worship Intern shall consider his/her primary task to explore a diverse set of worship ministry experiences over a 3-4 month period as stipulated upon date of hire.  The goal is to help clarify how God may be leading him/her into ministry and to increase the effectiveness of the worship ministry at Heritage Fellowship Church.

Quantitative:

Worship Team Duties

  • Actively participate in Wednesday practices and Sunday morning services during the internship (e.g. musically, technically and spiritually)
  • Aid in the planning, preparation, and execution of Sunday services
  • Help with creative and administrative elements of the band, vocal team, A/V team, and stage design

Hours

  • This will be a paid 15 hour per week internship.
  • There will be an allowance for two Sundays off during the internship if needed

Accountability

  • This internship will be a semester long internship
  • Upon completion, a letter of reference and evaluation will be given for his/her resume.
