Carolyn Baney
Carolyn has been the full-time administrative assistant at HFC since October 2023. Carolyn graduated from Cedarville University in May 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry and Christian Education. With an additional minor in Biblical Counseling, she loves leading the hospitality teams in ministry and organizing events for HFC!
Where were you born?
Bellefontaine, OH
When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I desperately wanted to be a famous actress and singer on Disney channel or Broadway. More specifically, I wanted to play Anastasia in the musical Anastasia on Broadway and I still would if I could!
What are two things nobody would guess about you?
I originally was accepted at Cedarville to be a nursing student and genuinely really enjoyed the major until God called me in a different direction.
I have somehow killed three car batteries in one year.
What are three things you cannot live without?
Music, cheesecake, and dogs.
What is some of your favorite music?
As you might expect, I love broadway/Disney music!
What is one of your guilty pleasures?
Buying plants and books I may never read.
What is your favorite place to eat in Springfield?
Raising Canes! I actually wanted to cater my wedding with it originally 🙂
What is your favorite Bible verse?
1 Corinthians 6:11 “And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”
