Pastor Jake Russo
Jake has been working at HFC since August of 2020. Jake graduated from Cedarville in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies with a minor in Youth Ministry. While at Cedarville, he met his wife Michaela, and they were married in February 2020.
When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? I always loved history as a child and thought I would be a history teacher like my Grandfather.
Where were you born? I was born in Chambersburg, PA.
What are three things you can’t live without? My journaling Bible, books, and my phone.
What are two things nobody would guess about you? 1. I’m an only child. 2. I hate cotton balls.
What is some of your favorite music? I love worship music! Two of my favorites are Shane & Shane and CityAlight. I also really like Ben Rector.
What is a guilty pleasure? Mexican Food & Ice Cream
What is your favorite place to eat in Springfield? …El Toro…
What is your favorite Bible verse? I don’t like having to pick just one, but, for now, I’ll say Jude 1:24-25.
