Where were you born?
I was born in Southern West Virginia!
When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was little, I said I wanted to grow up to be a penguin impersonator, but upon realizing how unrealistic that goal was, I wanted to be a pediatric nurse or a kindergarten teacher.
What are two things nobody would guess about you?
When I was in high school, I used to design alternative stage sets for popular musicals and considered going into theatre design (but I just married a theatre design major instead).
What are three things you cannot live without?
(Jesus is a given, so here are three more) Sunshine, sneakers, and a comfortable bed.
What is your favorite music?
I like most things with an acoustic rhythm.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Don’t tell anyone, but I like to sing really loudly and badly in the car, oftentimes making myself laugh because I’m hilarious.
What is your favorite place to eat in Springfield?
It’s a chain, but I will always accept an offer to go to Five Guys on Bechtle.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
Changing my inner monologue, Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
