Layna Lange
Layna has been the Connections Director at HFC since September 2019. Previously, she was program director for an after-school program in the Springfield City school district and, before that, worked for 4 years leading Children’s Ministry. She graduated with a Comprehensive Bible degree from Cedarville University in 2014 and has slowly been going back to get her master’s degree in Biblical Counseling.
Where were you born?
I was born in Chicago, IL!
What did you want to be when you grow up?
I wanted to be a teacher for a long time, but I never wanted to work in a school! After accepting Christ, working in ministry was my one and only passion.
What are two things nobody would guess about you!
I have a pet gecko, and I hate polka dots.
What are three things you cannot live without?
Jesus, coffee, and people.
What is some of your favorite music?
Road-trip jams! And instrumental worship music
What is one of your guilty pleasures?
Coffee and chocolate.
What is your favorite place to eat in Springfield?
Co-hatch downtown is so awesome!
